In other words, the Little Boy – the work makes reference to dropping the atomic bomb on Hiroshima on August 6, 1945. The head of the stone boy is a meteorite.
The Little Boy has got many images – he is shown in a tamed perspective here. He is the symbol of the end and the beginning, similarly as the act of destruction.
