Refugee Flag
2021
The flag was a response to the refugee crisis and the situation on the Polish-Belarusian border. A thermal blanket became a symbol of saving lives and providing physical care to another person’s body. The flag is a manifestation of empathy. It was used many times during solidarity marches for refugees. It still remains relevant and necessary, emphasizing the imperative for readiness and protection of those who need them.
* At the exhibition we present a copy of the flag made of durable textile.
