The Dance of Giants collage/pencil/ink 2020
The fight for supremacy over our planet and beyond expressed in a sinister dance – the Cold War and the space competition between the USA and USSR. The characters are built from cosmic elements – spherical intergalactic space and a satellite piece. In the discourse of the modern global competition of world powers we are facing some reshuffle when it comes to the domineering players. The collage presents the choreography by Wernher von Braun – the architect of Nazi military successes and the later star of NASA.
