The direct and blunt slogan refers to the opposition to the ongoing russian invasion of Ukraine. It is a straightforward expression of disagreement with the cruelty and horrors of the war going on in the artist’s country of origin. The inscription visible on the flag was originally written with charcoal on paper, then scanned and transferred onto the flag. The message builds up, creating an impression of the need for constant repetition. At the same time, it transforms into a kind of political spell, a protest in the form of magical practice.
