Moonboy is a boy’s portrait made of cosmic rock and antique stone. The work consists of cultural symbols of Kubrick’s cosmic child and the antique faceless boy gaining new subjectivity and becoming a part of a new species that is intertemporal and intergalactic. The motive of growth rings in the background brings the meaning of the passing of time.
The work’s base – the chopping board – is the sign of the struggle with current limitations connected with physical and social isolation.
