The Flag

For the artist, the flag is a personal banner which she created out of fatigue and awareness that the struggle for values never ends. The elements of nature that appear on the flag coexist in their diversity. The rainbow, Moon, lightning, vegetation or erupting volcano reflect the symbols, motifs, and emotions that emerge in the context of Poland’s socio-political situation.
* At the exhibition we present a copy of the artwork – the original flag is made with acid paint on silk.
